Lithuania’s soil

A Series of works was made to celebrate the deeper meaning of soil. I recreate important history photos by painting with Lithuanian soil. The very first project was dedicated to signatories of the Lithuania independence act. After this artwork, I started a series of works called Lithuania’s soils speaks. This project brings me to Tokyo, where I painted Chiune Sugihara from Lithuanian and Japanese soil as gratitude to Japanese people for Life land to all the Jewish refugees through world war II.
